Meador; The Most Famous Man in America: The Biography of Henry Ward Beecher by Debby Applegate (my Pulitzer prize winning college classmate); The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World by Alan Greenspan (I enjoyed the reminiscences of his colleague Robert Rubin about the Clinton years, but I may skip this one after hearing too many post-fed interviews); Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons; The Image of the City by Kevin Lynch; How to Be Alone: Essays by Jonathan Franzen (I loved his "corrections"); China Mountain Zhang by Maureen F.
